Mike Quartararo is the managing director of eDPM Advisory Services, a consulting firm providing legal
technology, e-discovery and project management advisory services to corporate legal departments, law
firms and service provider organizations. He is also the author of the 2016 book Project Management in
Electronic Discovery, which merges project management principles and best practices in electronic
discovery. Mike has been solving client problems using technology for 20 years and has built his career
upon strategic and innovative thinking, leadership and operational skills honed at the best legal
organizations in the world. As former law firm director, he has a decade of experience delivering e-
discovery, project management and legal technology solutions. He worked for ten years at Skadden Arps
Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, and more recently as firm-wide director of litigation support at Stroock &
Stroock & Lavan LLP. As an adjunct graduate professor, Mike designed and taught a curriculum on e-
discovery project management at Bryan University. A graduate of the State University of New York, he is
also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS).
He sits on the national board of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) and is the
ACEDS liaison member to the Advisory Committee of the EDRM at Duke Law School. He frequently
writes and speaks on legal operations, e-discovery, project management and legal technology.
